Buenos Aires, March 18 (NA) – The National Social Security Administration (ANSES) has not yet officially communicated the amount of the extra bonus for retirees and pensioners for April 2026, but it is a fact that it will be maintained. According to what the Argentine News Agency was able to find out, the Government will maintain the bonus of $70,000 for retirees and pensioners in April, within the framework of the monthly update of benefits governed by the current mobility formula. The body will apply a 2.9% increase to all benefits, in line with the inflation figure and the current scheme that adjusts income with a two-month lag. The measure aims to support the purchasing power of beneficiaries in the face of the rise in prices, which in the first two months of the year has accumulated 5.9%. ANSES: what will the minimum pension be in April. With the update, the minimum pension will rise to $380,319.31. To this amount the extraordinary reinforcement is added, so retirees who receive the minimum benefit will receive at least $450,319.31 with the bonus included. The payment of the bonus is maintained as a key tool to reinforce the income of the most vulnerable sectors within the pension system. How the increase impacts. The 2.9% increase will be applied to all benefits paid by ANSES, in a context where inflation continues to pressure the incomes of older adults.
